[Unsupported] How to roll back Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on macOS

From now on I will show you how to roll back Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on macOS. Microsoft does not officially allow you to roll back the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on macOS agent. Therefore, I hope you will understand that this is not supported by Microsoft.

Step0

Uninstall Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Mac from your mac.

Step1

1) From the device where MDE on Mac is installed, click [Help] on the top tab.
2) Click [Check for Updates] > [Details].
3) The Microsoft AutoUpdate screen will launch. Uncheck the [Keep Microsoft apps up to date automatically] checkbox.
* If this checkbox is "On", automatic updates will be performed; if it is "Off", automatic updates will not be performed.

Step2

Install the older version of the package from the following URL. X in the "wdav-XXX.XX.XX" part should be the version of the package you want to download.

You can roll back by reinstalling Microsoft Defender for Endpoint on Mac using the package you downloaded.
